Pechersk District Court of Kyiv has arrested two houses in Olbia, Italy belonging to Oleksii Azarov, as well as a bank account of Agosto 2012 srl company.

This is stated in a court's judgment of July 28, Censor.NET reports citing Nashі Hroshі.

A pre-trial investigation on suspicion of illicit enrichment against the fugitive Prime Minister Mykola Azarov's son is underway.

It has been found that in 2012-2014, Oleksii Azarov, as a people's deputy, received €7.7 million, 600,000 Swiss francs and $500,000 from unidentified sources. Further on, these funds were placed in banks in Switzerland, Italy and the Principality of Liechtenstein.

At the same time, in order to conceal his true income in 2012-2014 Oleksii Azarov declared significantly lower revenues in the amount of 19.65 million hryvnias.

The court ordered to arrest two houses located on the territory of the Italian Republic in the city of Olbia (Sardinia), the Gulf of Marinella area. This property was acquired by Agosto 2012 srl company linked to Azarov. One house was purchased on Dec. 17, 2012 and the other on Sep. 7, 2013.

As reported, the Italian police arrested the mentioned assets of Azarov last fall.
