Law enforcement bodies have notified 18 individuals of suspicion, following bloody events near Ukraine's parliament on Aug. 31.

This is reported by Censor.NET citing the Prosecutor General's Office press service.

In view of the available evidence, one of the detainees has been notified of suspicion under Article 348 (attempt on the life of a law enforcement officer), and Part 3 of Article 258 (terrorist act) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, providing for a single restraint measure in form of custody.

Other detainees are charged under Part 3 of Article 345 (threat of violence against a law enforcement officer), Article 293 (group violation of public order) and Part 2 of Article 294 (rioting) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

On Wednesday, restraint measures are to be chosen by court.

As reported, three National Guard soldiers were killed, more than 150 people received injuries of varying severity, after clashes broke out at the Verkhovna Rada building on Monday.
