Opposition Will Inevitably Defeat the Dictatorship
Andrei Sannikov

Interesting times bring interesting questions. Answers are not easy, but we will cope with them.

We are going through another stage of these "elections". It is very difficult and very dangerous. If we do not see it, we can go so low that the apex of morality will be measured by the depth of abomination.

There is a great temptation to judge by outward appearances. Moreover, the information space persistently imposes pictures in the style of Redmer Hoekstra, a kind of aesthetically acceptable genetic mutants, which in actual fact are incompatible with life.

It is very easy today to dissect what remains of the independent press. You can make jokes, resent, you can pretend that everything is amenable to serious analysis. It does not change the essence.

With very few exceptions, all the press is enthusiastically licking the insignificant dictator. Even the roles have been distributed. Someone should clearly say that we will have elections and offer to bet on the outcome of the race of the dead cockroaches. Someone has to convince everyone that people can not wait for the election day to come to rush to the polls and beat the North Korean turnout. Those who are more yellow than others must necessarily publish a scandalous chronicle of the life of the opposition and journalists, ethically condemn them for being the opposition and journalists. The closest ones need to give convincing examples of multi-directional prove that the alternative is not only nonexistent but it cannot exist as such. That this "folk" does not deserve such happiness, and therefore it does not appreciate it.

Journalists, writers, philosophers, producers, analysts and other allegedly independent creators were quick to snap these roles and are reading them aloud intensely moving their lips. It does not matter that their words are false, the words had been approved. Some even try with a serious look on their faces...

Older conformists did not notice how they paved the way for cynically active youngsters who at this time has ousted them from the cozy niche called "above the fray". The bastards quickly realized that such a product can be sold for hard currency and began to lick the regime for export. In addition, they learned some languages.

Everyone has their own explanation of the motives. The explanations are convincing: with tears and fervor. Only the credibility painfully looks like an attempt to justify their meanness.

You can easily predict the behavior of some media outlets and their front men in the next ten days. All the forces have been used for the "folk" to believe the data of the fake sociologists and to rush to the life-giving ballot boxes. It is not a question of the state media. They are being lucky: former opponents are doing everything for them, and with what fervor!

They paint together, thinking that they are playing Hoekstra and not noticing that they are producing creations in the spirit of Gunther von Hagens, of dead human bodies. And this is already beyond...

However, the opposition is not individuals, but a concept. Happy are those peoples who have this concept in hard times of despotism coincide with personalities. They win.

Independent journalism is not a person either, but principles. When there are principles - there is an independent journalist. Well, if they are not there - we hear the plaintive wail of "objectivity." It's almost like two official languages in our country. They are also "objectively" equal.

It makes no sense to try to understand why politicians who call themselves the opposition, and journalists who call themselves independent, rushed to help the dictator. Each can have their own mercantile spirit and perhaps their own tragedy. Only their picture is aimed at the "folk". The people will not believe it.

People today are increasingly becoming the opposition. The people would not voluntarily go to the polls to bury their future. In 2010 they went there, because they supported the opposition, and now they will not go.

And the opposition will inevitably deal with the dictatorship. It does not happen otherwise. And independent journalists will the first to write about it.
