Police Officer Beat Up Boy Of Nine In Stolin

The trial is over, the child victim was punished.

Only a week and a half has passed after the headline-making case of a 17-year-old Aliaksandr Kharuta, who was sentenced to 2 years of liberty limitation without sending to a specialized facility allegedly for beating up the riot policeman Aleh Sharko. However, the convicted and the witnesses of the incident claimed the opposite: that were the police officers who had beaten up the children and had threatened them with sexual violence.

"They were beating the teenagers before handcuffing them and after. Three independent witnesses and the teenagers claimed this. And it clearly indicates that Belarusian riot police employs sadists," – Pavel Spiryn, the step-father of Aliaksandr Kharuta, is sure.

The best of the best beats up children

Attempts are made to sweep a similar case under the carpet in Brest region, Belsat informs. The journalists start to tell the story with posting photos, taken in Stolin. On the photos - senior Inspector of law enforcement and prevention actions department of the local police office Vadzim Prylutski. According to the local "regional newsaper", he is a young and proactive policeman, the best of the best, whose picture was even placed on the board of honor.

As for the 9-year-old boy Ulad, who is also a citizen of Stolin living in one neighborhood with Vadzim Prylutski, he couldn't make any photos because of the bruises on his face. He was brutally beaten up by the vaunted policeman on July 12, in the place where all could see it.

"He pushed me violently on the ground and started to beat with all his strength. He hit me six times. Then i stood up and he pushed me on the ground again. He kicked me on my chest twice and on my belly twice. And he kicked my kidneys twice as well," – the injured Ulad Palkhouski told.

"He grabbed him by his neck, threw him on the ground and kicked him on his belly twice. Yes, it was a police officer",

"Uncle Vadzim says: "Come here." I thought that he was addressing me, but it appeared that he was addressing Ulad. And then he grabbed him by his neck and threw him on the ground. And started to kick him," – children, the witnesses of police violence, recollect.

Two million for the health of a child

According to the boy, the son of the police officer climbed the fence because he wanted to get some apples and scratched his arm. However, he said to his father that that was Ulad who injured him. As for Vadzim Prylutski himself, he didn't deny his deed at first.

"My sister and me, we went to the head of the Stolin regional police department Philipchuk, who in my presence was explaining that Prylutski had told him that he really had beaten up the boy, but he hadn't explained why,"Siarhei Palkhouski, the uncle of the injured boy, noted.

"It was like some kind of dim-out or madness – i don't understand what has happened to me, but yes, I started to beat him up. So, I kicked him, but i can't explain for what," – he confessed to me. Later, he didn't apologize, he said he would pay us. I say: excuse me, but no money is equal to a child's health! What are you going to pay me: And he: I will pay two million Belarusian rubles to you,"Sviatlana Palkhouskaya, the mother of the boy, shared her memories.

Proceedings in the case were terminated

Meanwhile, the police heads have decided to sweep the case under the carpet. There has been done nothing during almost two months: there were no checks on the materials of the case, the report was drawn at the last moment, and then the court sent the case back for revision. And finally, the proceedings in the case were terminated, despite the witnesses, despite the injures, recorded by the forensic medical examination.

Inspector Prylutski denied his actions in the court.

"First of all, her son beaten up my son. My son got injures, but I didn't touch her son. I didn't beat him and I caused him no injuries," – Vadzim Prylutski, an inspector of the Stolin regional police department, says.

The victim was punished!

How do the two Stolin heroes from the two photos do today? Vadzim Prylutski continues to wear shoulder straps and service weapon. He wasn't suspended from service even at the time of the official investigation, which was held, by the way, by his subordinate. And the family of Ulad Palkhouski has finally got the reaction of the state to the beating: their son was registered at the commission on juvenile affairs.
