Yury Belenki: Information About Pazniak’s Return Is Secret Services’ Provocation

Today Radio Racyja has received an email, allegedly from Zianon Pazniak, informing that on March 25 the politician is “to start liberation of Belarus.”

“It is a provocation of secret services, and notably Russian ones – in this way the deputy chairman of the Conservative Christian Party Belarusian Popular Front Yury Belenki commented to Radio Racyja the false information about Zianon Pazniak’s return. As said by him, Pazniak is reportedly on the list of Russian special services among those who are to be subject to liquidation:

“In recent years provocations against Pazniak were taking place in different forms. The information was received directly from the KGB – that a group headed by Sheiman had been created, a special detachment, which made a detailed plan of Pazniak’s assassination. Russia stands behind that. Chornovil, Gamsakhurdia, Politkovskaya and so on were on the security services’ lists. They have a list of persons who must be exterminated. They were not able to liquidate Zianon Pazniak.”

Chairman of the Conservative Christian Party Belarusian Popular Front Zianon Pazniak confirmed the words of his deputy Yuri Belenki, who called the news of the return to Belarus to lead the new movement and overthrow Lukashenka, false.

“I have no plans to return to Belarus. This is a provocation. It’s the first time I hear about it. But I know that someone checks my mailbox. Sometimes I get spam from my own mailbox. Therefore, all the time, someone is supervising my email, they forge and send out nonsense. There were even fake Web pages where someone put some theoretical works on my behalf, and mixed them. It’s nonsense. Therefore, all this is a provocation. I have nothing to do with it,” – Zianon Pazniak said.

Today Radio Racyja has received a message to its editorial office’s mailbox. It had been allegedly sent by Zianon Pazniak. It read that “the situation in Belarus is leaving Lukashenka’s control.” That is why in the nearest future Pazniak allegedly planned to return to Belarus and head the movement for liberation of the country from the power of the traitor and degenerate, which should not be carried by the Belarusian land. The hour at the clock tower of the Fatherland has struck. Dishonor is not our way. Our way is honour and struggle. The Horde is to be defeated by an army, it is to be defeated by the Belarusian Nation. I am calling upon Belarusians to join the freedom fighting movement. We are to start liberation of Belarus on March 25!” The message is signed by Zianon Pazniak.
