Mikalai Aksamit: Lukashenka Is Sissy

Lukashenka is a weak politician, who shed tears and nearly fainted, when he was pressed for admitting a lie.

Supreme Council ex-deputy Mikalai Aksamit stated that at a meeting of the Vytautas the Great Club, recalling the dramatic events of spring 1995, mfront.net reports.

“Why do some people believe that Lukashenka is a strong politician? He is a weak politician! He pushed the national elite away just by revoking national symbols – the white-red-white flag and the coat of arms Pahohia. Is this the way a strong politician would act? It is a weak politician!

I remember the situation when Lukashenka made an anti-corruption report and slandered a lot of people, including Mikalai Markevich. And once we were walking with Mikalai on the sidewalks near the Supreme Council, and we saw Lukashenka walking toward us. Mikalai ran up to him, grabbed his collar – and he did it quite strongly – and said: “What are you doing, Sasha?! You know perfectly well that this is a lie.” You should have seen Lukashenka’s face – he nearly fainted and started explaining away: “General Sarokin asked to do it. Well, you know, this is politics.” Is it a strong politician? He is a sissy! We remember Lukashenka’s crocodile tears, and how he nearly fainted, when he was pressed for admitting a lie,” – Mikalai Aksamit said.
