Vital Hurkou Knocked Out Ukrainian Perzhanovsky

This is Vital Hurkou’s second consecutive victory in Muay Thai World Championship.

Vital Tsishurau wrote about that on his Facebook page, charter97.org informs.

“Our national team’s performance at the World Championship in Thai boxing in Sweden:

– V. Hurkou against Ukrainian Stanislav Perzhanovsky. A preliminary victory (knockout in Round 1).

– R.Dovnar against a Lithuanian. A victory on points.

– A.Vanakov against a Swedish. A victory on points.

There are 4 more fights to go today, – he wrote.

On May 17, our multiple world champion in Muay Thai and Honored Master of Sports Vital Hurkou flew to Sweden Jonkoping, where the competitions are held.

The World Cup is not a piece of cake for Vital Hurkou. In March, a fighter, who is simultaneously engaged in creative activities with the group Brutto, has returned to the ring unexpectedly and won the championship of Belarus. Soon it became known that the fighter was excluded from rates in the Ministry of Sports, and there was no money for his trip to Sweden.

Belarusians raised the necessary sum of money in a couple of hours on the project “People's Champion.” However, later it became known that the Federation of Muay Thai managed to find money for the fighter in the state budget.

In addition to Hurkovau (75 kg), other stars of world scale will perform in the national team. This is Andrei Kulebin (71 kg), Dzmitry Varetz (67 kg) and Dzmitry Valent (81 kg).

The championship ends on 28 May.
