Iran Announces Completion Of First Wave Of Attacks, Setting Condition For Israel

It is still possible that air strikes will continue.

The Iranian delegation to the United Nations (UN) said that Tehran intends to limit itself to the wave of strikes already carried out this night on Israeli territory. However, it is still possible that air strikes will continue.

This has been reported by newsru.co.il.

As representatives of the Iranian delegation assured, the first wave of strikes has already taken place. Tehran called it a military “response” to Israel’s attack on the Iranian “consulate” in the Syrian capital Damascus on April 1.

It is alleged that new launches of drones and missiles from the Iranian side will not yet be carried out.

At the same time, the Iranian delegation to the UN emphasized that new waves of attacks are possible if Israel “does something stupid,” meaning a response to the strikes already inflicted today.

Iran attack on Israel

Earlier it was reported that on the evening of Saturday, April 13, Iran launched hundreds of drones into Israel in response to a missile attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recorded a video message to the citizens of the state, in which he stated that Israel is ready for a direct attack from Iran and will respond in kind.

The Israeli military has identified more than 100 drones launched from Iran. The Air Force is tracking the drones and preparing for additional waves of attacks that could also include missiles.

The Times of Israel, citing Channel 12, reported that Israel has already begun intercepting Iranian drones over Jordan and Syria.
