Kremlin Wants To Steal All Belarusian Microelectronics Production

Belarusian Planar and Integral companies will work for Russia.

One of the key issues at the Security Council of the Russian Federation, where Lukashenka was invited, was the cooperation of Belarusian enterprises with the Russian defence industry. According to Kommersant, Moscow is facing a serious problem with the supply of Chinese components for its missiles. A reader of Charter97.org suggested that now the Kremlin wants to steal all Belarusian microelectronics production:

“Since the end of March, Chinese banks have not missed payment from companies from the Russian Federation for the components necessary for the assembly of electronics. Because of this, Belarus remained almost the only supplier of microchips for the Russian army.

Belarusian Planar and Integral companies are loaded with orders from Russia by 60%. The remaining capacity is used for the domestic market and Latin America.

The Kremlin insists on the breaking of already signed contracts, promising to buy out all the products of the companies. Another thing is that they will pay one and a half times less, and the companies will also face penalties from the foreign partners.
