A Belarusian military officer was killed during exercises at the Abuz-Liasnouski range near Baranavichy, nashaniva.com reports.

According to the newspaper, the deceased was a battery commander of the 105th separate mechanised battalion of the 11th Brigade, which is stationed in Slonim, senior lieutenant Siarhei T., born in 1999, a graduate of the Military Academy.

At the moment two versions of the incident are being considered: suicide and careless handling of weapons, the former law enforcers write.
