52-Year-Old Stowaway Beats Up Ticket Inspector In Minsk

How did this end for her?

A 52-year-old woman was tried in Minsk for using violence against a public transport inspector.

That day, she did not have paid fare on the bus, reports the Minsk-News agency.

The controllers asked the Minsk resident to get off at the nearest stop. She did so, but refused to provide her personal data to fill out a protocol on an administrative violation.

Then the woman tried to leave, but the Minsktrans female employee began to hold her by the strap of her bag: the woman was supposed to wait for the police to arrive.

In an attempt to free herself, the attacker hit the official several times in the forearm area, and then was about to run away. But the inspectors did not plan to let the violator go, and her illegal actions were captured by video recorders.

A criminal case has been initiated against the Minsk resident. The woman, who works as a store manager and has not previously been prosecuted, fully admitted her guilt and repented of her actions.

She was sentenced to a year of correctional labor with deduction of 25% of her salary at her main place of work as state income. The accused must also pay the victim 300 rubles as compensation for moral damage.
