The authorities were fighting us for 20 years with all kinds of repressions: from blockage to murders of journalists. We will protect Charter’97 website with all available means, internationally as well. During coronavirus epidemics the authorities in Belarus strengthened the blockage of our site in order to hide the truth of the numbers of the infected and the dead from COVID-19. Belarus In NATO

«Charter» - 20 years!
On November 10, 1997, a document “Charter’97” was first published. It claimed that Belarusians “will not tolerate arbitrariness, disregard of laws, crimes against the whole nation and a person, committed by the authorities; and are ready to fight for their rights and freedoms, for the restoration of legality and democracy in the country, together.”
