ReplyА это уже не ваше дело. Пускай они хоть свидетели инопланетян. Для светского государства нет разницы. Не позволяет ему вера супостатсткую форму носить - имеет право по конституции. Меняйте конституцию, а тогда и трындите.
As for Jehovah's Witnesses and other minority sects like them, they are often in opposition to governments. Their members don't join the military, and are discouraged from taking on alternative service in countries where conscription is in operation.
ReplyThey have no particular respect for any government, despite any claims they make otherwise. In short, their stance is an unpopular one with some governments, and while I hate to see discrimination on the grounds of belief directed against any group, it's easy to understand why some governments can become frustrated by the Watchtower's blatant disregard for their authority.

Статья - яркий пример того, что и сегодня, как в наши "ностальгические" времена высокие посты могут занимать и полностью не компетентные люди, главное, чтобы были готовы угодить начальству всегда и даже если об этом никто не просит. Я далёк от мысли, что президент хотел показать неуважение к основному закону, инициатором выхода которого он был сам. Логика полковника Цацарина - главное, чтобы был выполнен любой, даже заведомо ложный приказ - вполне понятна, когда каждый стремится не потерять работу, особенно такую тёпленькую. Лучше перестараться, чем недо... Одним словом - ЦАЦАРИН.

А на счёт альтернативы - так такая служба есть, её ни кто не отменял. У меня знакомый только что с неё на дембель ушёл. И ни кто его не притеснял.

Lots of religions are conscious objectors not just Jehovah's Witnesses.
ReplyJehovah's Witnesses defenders will highlight that they,"don't kill in war" none the less this is deceiving as they have just as much criminal activity as any other Fundy group maybe more because they cover it up.
Thousands maybe tens of thousands of been 'martyred' for refusing whole blood transfusions all over a man made rule that is unfairly applied.
They have virtually no public charities like food pantries,soup kitchens,hospitals or schools but billions in real estate that is tax free.
