Salary is already given in coupons in Belarus

To avoid problems and trouble with one’s superiors, coupons are to be taken in the voluntary-compulsory order.

The management of Klichev State Agrarian Technical College interpreted the idea of cashless payments in a very peculiar way. Coupons which would seem entirely forgotten in 90th years of the last century are taken as the “innovation”, the website Klichev.by writes.

The innovation kills two birds at once. Using coupons the management of the educational establishment pays salary and increases the turnover of its retail outlets at once.

A payment document – is a common piece of paper on which the sum of fifty thousand rubles is printed, the name of an employee is stated and there is a seal of the educational establishment. The holder of this coupon may get goods for the equivalent amount in any store of the college.

It would seem that there is nothing terrible in it, but there are some nuances. Firstly, that amount will be later retained from the salary, and secondly - the possibility to opt out of receiving coupons – is minimal. One can try to do this if, for example, the maternity leave is looming, or one has a desire to quit. However, if one plans to continue working here, the coupons must be taken in the voluntary-compulsory order to avoid problems and trouble with one’s superiors.
