Belarus acted as a niggard towards Tatarstan in the potato issue

Instead of the required 100 thousand tons of potato Tatarstan will receive from Belarus only 40 thousand tons.

The mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin informed about the purchases. Belarus is to deliver to Tatarstan 40 thousand tons of potato within September, October, and the first ten days of November, IA REGNUM reports.

This does not correspond the prior intentions – in the run of the negotiations between President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Alyaksandr Lukashenka, that took place at the beginning of August, the Republic of Tatarstan asked for selling 100 thousand tons of Belarusian potato to it. The deliveries of vegetables will start in September.
