Mikalai Statkevich’s father denied meeting with his son

Viktar Statkevich, the father of the presidential candidate, who is kept in the KGB jail since December 19, 2010, still cannot meet with his son.

He has written an appeal to the KGB and asked for a meeting with his son, however he received an answer that a meeting with Mikalai Statkevich “does not seem possible yet”.

Viktar Statkevich lives alone in the city of Baranavichy, he is 84, and he worries greatly he may never see his son again.
