On May 13 in Moscow-Minsk Bank branch in Homel policemen detained an activist of the United Civil party and “For Freedom” movement Uladzimer Nepomnyashchykh.

The oppositionist was taken to the police department of the Central district of Homel.

“I had a T-shirt with the words “For Belarus without Lukashenka” and “We are fed up, it’s enough”. Besides, I had a badge “I want to buy unstable currency”. This attracted attention of policemen. However, they told me that they received a phone call from the bank and a complaint against me. In the police department I was required to give explanations. I was asked what I had been doing in the bank department. I explained, that I wanted to by unstable currency, and to give back to the state our, stable currency,” BelaPAN was told by Nepomnyashchykh.

At the moment he is released from the police department. The activist went to the bank to find out who had phoned the police and complained.

Nepomnyashchykh was detained before for his T-shirts with “rebellious” writings. Police confined themselves to oral explanation and did not bring him to responsibility.
