Five days in prison for noodles from BT

In the court of the Partisan district of Minsk the activists of Alternativa Aleg Korban and Uladzimir Siargeeu were put to trial.

The judge Rita Sharai accused the young men of (article 17.1 of the Administrative Code) and sentenced to five days in prison each, the human rights center Viasna reports.

We would remind that the activists were detained yesterday for taking part in an action against the propaganda on BT.

The activists of Alternativa carried out a flash mob to protest against the propaganda at the state television. They put a TV-set with the BT’s logo at the crossroads of Nemiga and Garadskoi Val streets and put noodles on top of it. In the Russian language the expression “to put noodles on someone’s ears” means to lie, to brainwash.
