Collecting signatures on a petition to the leaders of the EU to help the liberation of political prisoners continues.
The MEP from Poland, Marek Migalski, a “godparent” of two political prisoners, initiated this campaign. The europarliamentarian took godparenthood for Siarhei Kavalenka and Dzmitry Bandarenka. Fortunately, they have been released from colonies and at moment they are with their families.
«Therefore, it is time to help to next prisoners of conscious, call to release and rehabilitate those, who have the most difficult situation at the moment», - said in the web-site of campaign.
the campaign organizers urge anyone who cares about Dmitri Dashkevich and Mikalaj Statkevich to sign PETITION to leaders of the EU member states, to make them continually remind about Belarus prisoners of conscious, who are prosecuted, oppressed and treated in an inappropriate way in colonies.
Along with Marek Migalski, co-authors of the petition was Mikola Statkevich's wife, Marina Adamovich, and Zmitser Dashkevich's fiancée, vice-president of “Young Front”, Nasta Palazhanka.
