IBB German director Astrid Sahm denied entry to Belarus

The German director of Johannes Rau International Centre for Education and Exchange (IBB) has been denied entry to Belarus.

On March 18, she was told in the Minsk national airport she did not have the right to enter the country, though she had a visa. Astrid Sahm had to fly to Riga, Radio Svaboda reports.

Astrid Sahm was expected to discuss the questions relating to preparation of an exhibition on Chernobyl theme in Minsk.
