Will EU ambassadors be allowed to Minsk?

The position of Belarus on the return of the European ambassadors to Minsk remains unchanged.

This statement was made by Belarusian MFA spokesman Andrei Savinykh at a briefing on Thursday.

“The positions on the issue were clearly expressed by both sides. There's no need to add anything so far,” Savinykh said answering a question about a possible return of Belarusian ambassadors to European capitals if the EU Council does not impose new sanctions on Monday. “Time will show,” Savinykh said.

Answering an additional question about the return of Polish and EU ambassadors to Minsk, the spokesman noted the issue was under consideration.
