Official information agencies fear to mention charter97.org?

BelTA and Interfax did not mention the website charter97.org in articles about the trial over Viktar Ivashkevich.

Belarus's biggest news agencies wrote about a judgement delivered to the opposition politician for calls to impose sanctions against the country's authorities. However, they failed to quote the court decision, which obliges Viktar Ivashkevich to pay 500,000 rubles to Mozyr oil refinery Maryna Tsybiyenka and “repent” on charter97.org website.

Both Interfax and BelTA feared to mention the name of the site in their articles. They only wrote the politician must “refute his statements, which were earlier published by a pro-opposition Internet-resource”.

We remind the Savetski district court of Minsk ruled out yesterday Viktar Ivashkevich must pay 500,000 rubles as compensation for moral damage caused to Maryna Tsybiyenka and “refute his statements” on chartert97.org website.
