Interior Ministry does not comment on the presence the of brother of the ex-governor of Kyrgyzstan in Minsk.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus does not comment bloggers' information that in a person resembling Dzhanybek Bakiyev, brother of the ex-ruler of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev is in Minsk.

"We do not comment on this information", - said to the agency "Interfax-West" on Monday at the Interior Ministry.

Recall, as charter97.org reported, activist of "Tell the truth!" Michail Pashkevich recently published on Facebook  photos of Dzhanybek Bakiyev, strolling in the center of Minsk on 17 August.

Earlier, the Interior Ministry also refused to comment on the status of Kurmanbek Bakiyev in Minsk.

At a press conference in June, the head of the Department of Citizenship and Migration of the Interior Ministry Aliaxei Biagun stated that national legislation of Belarus does not involve public disclosure of information about the status of residence of ex-ruler Kurmanbek Bakiyev and his family.

"Law on Refugees in Belarus, the Citizenship Law, and the Law on Information and Protection of Information do not allow a disclose of information about the status of a person in the state without his or her personal application. So I'm not authorized to give information about status of Bakiyev and his family in Belarus", - said A.Biagun.

Recall, the former ruler of Kyrgyzstan and his brother Zhanybek Bakiyev are announced internationally wanted on the territory of the CIS and through Interpol. They are charged under the Criminal Code of complicity in mass murder. The Kyrgyzstan ruler hides with his family in Belarus since April 2010. Back in August 2010, Kurmanbek Bakiyev, received a passport of the citizen of Belarus, and that year he bought a $ 2 million-house on the outskirts of Minsk.
