Dzyanis Dashkevich left in KGB in Rahachou for 4 hours

Dzyanis Dashkevich, an activist of Tell the Truth campaign who wasn't registered as a candidate in the town of Rahachou, spent nearly 4 hours in the local KGB office.

KGB officers wanted him to sign a document to confess he is involved in financial frauds, takes money for wedding organizing in dollars instead of Belarusian rubles and helps friendly businessmen to organize weddings. KGB officers also talked to Dashkevich's wife, who left the KGB office earlier, Viasna human rights centre reports.

KGB officers told Dashkevich a criminal case may be initiated against him and materials relating to his business activities would be sent to the tax office.

Dashkevich says he summoning to the KGB is connected to the “elections” to prevent him from appealing against the decision of the election commission in Rahachou.
