Dmitry Plotnitsky through to men's triple jump final

Belarus’ Dmitry Plotnitsky advanced to the men's triple jump final on 7 August, BelTA has learnt.

The Belarusian long-jumper’s 16.62 meters attempt placed him 12th and secured him a spot in the final on 9 August.

Belarus’ Maksim Lynsha finished third in the men's 110m hurdles round 1 heat 2 clocking 13.47 seconds and proceeded to the semifinal which is scheduled for 8 August.
