In Minsk at the polling station 141 they are preparing ballots to throw in

The Belarusian Christian Democracy activist and the 141 polling station observer of the 94th constituency Ihar Shanchuk was not allowed to the polling station in the morning on September 19th.

The commission members claimed that they wanted to check the ballot boxes and tried to lock themselves alone at the polling station, the Belarusian Christian Democracy’s press service reports.

The head of the commission also refused to give the number of the people registered as voters at the polling station as well as the number of the ballots that they received. Nevertheless, Ihar Shanchuk managed to notice that the number of the people, supposed to vote, is 1900, and there are 2305 ballots. At the same time, the article 72 of the electoral code tells, that the number of reserve ballots must not exceed 5% of the number of the voters. That proves, that the conditions for falsification are already created at the polling station.

The activist also managed to talk to the woman, who confessed, that she was forcefully sent to vote at her work. The name of the woman is given for the protocol, but she asked to remain unnamed for the media. The confession is registered by the BChD observer.
