Raman Jakauleuski: Lukashenka can’t get enough playing war

Belarusian ruler does not have money for modernizing Su-27 fighter jets.

The opinion came from a political observer Raman Jakauleuski, as he commented for the charter97.org web-site on Belarusian ruler’s desire to modernize armament units and military equipment.

“Lukashenka cannot get enough of playing a war. When he says that we should not abandon Su-27, the question arises: do you have money? For example, the level of integration in the military field between NATO members reaches the extent at which Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia completely refused from their own air forces and control over this domain has been taken over by NATO. Certain experts deem it worthy to entrust the Russians with protecting Belarusian skies”, - the observer noted.

Raman Jakauleuski emphasized that the Belarusian ruler did not have money for modernizing and restoration of military equipment.

“Lukashenka wants to modernize two dozen serious jets, but who is going to attack him? These reflections of his on army are, at first, contradictive, at second, hardly feasible considering Belarus’ economic potential. That is why most of the population takes such defensive appeals with indifference, and observers expect another show. He said he would behead the government, and we know who is the head of the government”, - the political observer added.

We would remind that speaking on the outcomes of his visit to the 61th fighter jet aviation base Belarusian dictator claimed there was the necessity to examine the state of Belarus’ military forces.
