Political prisoner Autukhovich reprimanded again

Mikalai Autukhovich found out about the penalty by accident in three month after it was pronounced.
According to the data received by human rights activists, the political prisoner was reprimanded back in October last year for allegedly not reacting to a controller’s remarks. Mikalai Autukhovich himself states that to one made remarks too him, the human rights center Viasna reports.
The political prisoner only found out about that measure in January when his cell was visited by a prosecutor of Grodno region. Since non-informing a prisoner about a punishment is a violation of the current legislation, Autukhovich appealed to this decision, however with no success.
Only due to his strong character, Mikalai Autukhovich holds courageously and decently, although the conditions in which he is kept in Grodno’s prison No 1 are very tough: a small cell, where it is even problematic to make a few steps, the absence of simple medical care, modest nutrition.
The political prisoner is also disturbed by the fact that many letters do not reach him, especially if prints of media articles are put in the envelops. This does not happen if some news are handwritten.
