Workers of Chemical Products Plant complain about low wages

Unsatisfied with working conditions, workers of Homel-based Chemical Products Plant filed a complaint to Lukashenka's administration.

About 50 workers of the plant appealed to Lukashenka asking to solve the problem of low quality of raw materials, working conditions and wages, the website odsgomel.org writes.

A mobile group from the Homel city executive committee visited the plant and found a number of violations there, such as absence of a work schedule and an incomplete first aid kit at the checkpoint.

Workers have to bring their own workwear, because the protective clothes they receive on the plant wear out in a short period of time.

The check revealed fire safety violations, absence of locks in the lockers and the honour board.

According to Aliaksandr Kliuchynski, the head of the department for labour, employment and social protection at the Homel city executive committee, he will keep all deficiencies under control.
