Police entered Radio Racyja’s office

On the weekend “unidentified people” entered the Minsk office of the independent media.

The journalist of the Radio Racyja’s Minsk editorial office Ryhor Sapezhynski reported about that to the charter97.org web-site.

“I came to work at 8 a.m. and found out that the office’s doors were not locked. At first I thought that someone of our employees was already there, but I have not found anyone having entered the premises. Nothing went missing, the editorial office’s computer, which we use for studio’s recordings, was off. The laptop of our detained colleagues Jarashevich and Barbarych were also off and on their places”, - the journalist noted.

He ruled out the possibility of the office having been visited by someone of the radio’s employees.

“I called to all the employees, including freelancers, and made sure that there was no one in the office on the weekend. Personal belongings, including the keys of the detained journalists, are now with the law enforcers. So we concluded, that it were them”, - Ryhor Sapezhynski believes.

We would remind that independent journalists Henadz Barbarych and Aliaksandr Jarashevich were detained on Friday after Charnobyl Way manifestation had finished.
