Dictator starts speaking about hybrid threat

The dictator scares Belarusians with “colour revolutions” and “exports of hatred.”

The situation around Belarus has changed considerably, the forms and methods of confrontation and warfare have undergone dramatic transformation. Alyaksandr Lukashenka stated so at the session of the Security Council of Belarus.

“It seems that never before did views on the science of war change so radically and rapidly the way they do now,” he said. “Never before did conflicts emerge and develop so unpredictably and quickly. Unfortunately, it is our present-day reality that we have to respond to, have to make the relevant conclusions and take practical steps.

So-called hybrid threats emerge. The notion of the territorial integrity of the state is eroding. The indirect action strategy developed by Western experts has spread far and wide. The strategy relies on non-governmental organizations of radical nature and other similar organizations for reaching goals.”

The dictator accused mass media and “the fifth column” with inciting up the war.

“Capacities of private military companies, and later army’s military might are actively used in that. Informational wars are becoming of great significance, so-called fifth columns are employed, and negative public opinions are shaped by mass media and the Internet.

“Contradictions in the country’s political system, corruption and decay of the government structure, the weak national security system led to Maidan and the civil war, to thousands of dead people and economic chaos. The country has been thrown into pieces, with innocent people suffering. At the same time the potential for hatred and the export of “color revolutions” is being accumulated over there,” Lukashenka stated.
