The leader of the presidential race in Ukraine advises Minsk to use the EU's programme Eastern Partnership.
Petro Poroshenko said it on Monday at a press conference in Kyiv, Interfax reports.
“I am absolutely convinced that Belarus should take advantages of the EU's Eastern Partnership,” the politician said.
He noted he was “on friendly terms” with Lukashenka, whom he knew for a long time.
MP Petro Poroshenko, the independent presidential candidate, has 53.7% of the vote, the Ukrainian Central Election Commission says after counting almost 54% of the votes.
