US slap new sanctions on Belvneshpromservice

The Department of State has announced imposing new sanctions against the Belarusian enterprise.

The sanctions were imposed on December 30, 2014, the official magazine of the US government Federal Register informs.

The ground for this decision was a conclusion of the US government that Belvneshpromservice violated provisions of the Iran, North Korea, and Syria Nonproliferation Act.

All state agencies and organs of the US are prohibited to cooperate with the Belarusian company and any successor, sub-unit, or subsidiary.

In addition to Belvneshpromservice, sanctions have been imposed on a number of natural and legal persons from Venezuela, Iran, China, the North Korea, Russia, Syria and Sudan.

We remind that Belvneshpromservice is already under the US sanctions. On September 18, 2012 the US Treasury charged the Belarusian company with supplies of aerial bombs' fuzes for the Syrian army during the civil war in this country.
