Collective farms to pay salary in kind

Up to 30% of the salary may be paid out with products of agro-industrial complex.

Angela Nikitsina, the Head of the Economy Department on Agriculture and Food of the Regional Executive Committee, says it does not contradict the Labour Code.

"The payment of salaries with natural products is provided by all legal acts, including collective agreements. Payment in kind should not exceed 30% of the salary", she said.

It should be reminded that recently many enterprises have taken a short work week and employees have been forced to take unpaid leaves.
