Belarusians Name Their Dream Salary

Not “500 bucks each”.

More than 40% of Belarusians surveyed said that a monthly salary of 3,000 to 5,000 rubles would be enough for them to have a happy and comfortable life. These are the results of a study conducted by the rabota.by service.

1,846 respondents took part in the online survey. 65.5% of them were hired workers, another 28% were looking for hired work.

17.6% of survey participants said that for a happy and comfortable life, from 5,500 to 7,000 rubles a month would be enough for them. 15.6% of respondents would like to receive more than 10 thousand rubles. About 1,000−2,500 rubles would be enough for 14.4% of study participants. But 10.1% would like to receive from 7,500 to 10,000 rubles. Only 0.6% of respondents agree to receive less than 1,000 rubles.
