Zeltser can be discharged from Belarusian prison

The US citizen Emanuel Zeltser who stays in the Belarusian prison, can be released from prison for international medical check-up.

Such an opinion has been voiced by lawyer Zmitser Harachka in his comment to the “European Radio”. The legislation allows release on the grounds of illness.

“If it would be fixed that he has such an illness, our laws allow conditional early release. There is such a variant,” Zmitser Harachka said.

As we have informed, extensive medical check-up of Emanuel Zeltser is to take place in January. Three Belarusian doctors and a doctor from the US Albert Benchabbat are to carry it out.
