A former chief of the National Bank of Belarus Pyotr Prakapovich replaced Tkachou as an aide to Lukashenka.
Syarhei Tkachou has been revealed of the post of a presidential aide and transferred to another job.
Alyaksandr Lukashenka signed the appropriate order on August 17, the press service of the head of state reports.
The Belarusian dictator gave the post of the aide to a former head of the country's National Bank, Pyotr Prakapovich, whose reputation was tarnished during last year's currency crisis.
