Belarus succumb to defeat in Bulgaria friendly

The Belarusian national football team have lost in their first friendly match of the season.
Head coach Georgy Kondratyev’s Belarus went down 1-2 to Bulgaria at Vasil Levsky National Stadium in Sofia. The hosts were in control of the game for most of the match and deserved a victory.
The only Belarus’ goal came on 87 minutes thanks to a shot by Sergei Krivets’, who substituted Alexander Hleb at half time. But by that time Bulgaria had already netted twice. In the 14th Georgi Milanov put the hosts in front and then Vladimir Gadzhev added a second one 66 minutes into the game.
