Foreign Ministry fears for the Belarusian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan

First Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Ihar Petryshenka talked to Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbayev on the phone on 28 August.
The Kyrgyz side had been notified that Belarus is concerned about the situation developing around its embassy in Bishkek.
During the talk it was stated that actions that disrupt the operation of and threaten the safety of diplomatic missions were inadmissible.
Ihar Petryshenka also said the Kyrgyz side should provide the relevant protection for the Belarusian embassy and the staff.
Unsanctioned rally was staged near the Embassy of Belarus in Kyrgyzstan in the morning of 28 August. Rally participants tried to storm the embassy, threw stones in the windows, broke some glass stand and flower pots.
