Secret visits of Belarusian officials in search of money

Viktar Lukashenka’s secret visit to the UAE is far from being the only one of this kind.

Such an opinion came from a political observer Raman Jakauleuski as he commented for the charter97.org web-site on the visit of Lukashenka’s elder son to the UAE.

“It is not for us to know what he did there exactly, but apart from these sporting events he, certainly, did some personal errands for his father. Another thing, though, bring up a question: how is that that in the “people’s state” we learn about the visit of such a high-ranked official as the national security advisor, which Viktar Lukashenka is, only in a week and not from Belarusian media, but from the Arab? The conclusion can be made that this is not the only important visit on special errands, made not only by him, but other people too”, - the observer believes.

Raman Jakauleuski emphasized that such visits remain a secret, and the population knows nothing of what high-ranked officials of the “people’s state” do.

“We know that for the Belarusian authorities the main thing today is money. Certainly this topic was discussed, but to what extent it was solved, we again do not know. In general, any version regarding the purpose of this secret visit has the right to exist: sales of arms, just money etc.”, - the political observer noted.

We would remind that Belarusian dictator’s elder son Viktar met the vice-Prime Minister and the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the United Arab Emirates a week ago. Local media called Aliaksandr Lukashenka’s elder son the “head of Belarus’ national security” in their reports on the meeting.
